How much was your Marauder when new?

Just a curious Newbe here asking a simple question to all reading this here post. I would like to know what people paid for their Marauder's when first new. I'm talking after signing the dotted line and not what the window sticker showed. Thanks all!

Does it matter if it was not brand new? I paid $22,500 for mine in May of 2007 off a used car dealer lot in Calgary, AB, Canada.

Caught mine as a steal. It had 17,000 miles on it. And it was listed for $17,000, got the price down to $15,000 :P

I know you said new, but I just paid $18.5k for a rediculous clean 33k MM with FULL Kooks exhaust headers to tips, X-cal, 6 disk...... The mods alone are about 2k without install, so I think I got a good deal.

Almost sticker (was $36ish paid 33ish) on Nov. '02. In August, same car at same dealer (I know, I wrote down the VIN) was asking $3K over sticker and wouldn't budge. I paid the 33 and had the 100K warranty free and I think it was 1.9% (or .9%) whatever the lowest FMC interest was at the time. The rate was so low that I financed as much as they'd let me. Been trying to differ as many payments as I can also. I make better money in my savings account than I pay in interest. I think I am clear come Feb on the car though. Can't put off any more.

Window sticker said $36,045 (brand new). Picked it up used for $21,100 with 40,321 miles from the same dealer who sold it to owner #1 brand new and then later on took the trade-in on it.

As mentioned by freakstatus, the sticker price was $46,800 (plus taxes, etc.). The car sat on the dealership lot for several months (I kept looking at it)... Eventually they were just looking for a way out of this car, and I was happy to help ;)

All said an done, I picked up a new '03 for $37,000 CDN (including the 15% sales tax and at a point in time where the CDN dollar was about 75 US pennies).:beer:

Oh, yeah, I knew that when I bought it.

It's a little subjective, but I'd say that either my deal or wchain's ($22,999 for a new '04 w/ a moon roof and 300 miles (though that's a lot of miles for a new one, so it must've been a test driver)) is the best that was cut for a new or virtually new Marauder.

Paid $11.5k with 84K on 11.28.07. Exceptionally Clean. I was considering a Crown VIC LX Sport BLK/BLK for $12.7k. Even considered a Lincoln LS but priced just out my range 14-15k. Picked the Marauder up instead I am glad I did; love the 4.6 32v in the Marauder nice acceleration. Cant what to start modding.

Kennnyrauder has a crying story..searched high * low for the best price. Best price from Heritage Ford in Toronto Canada. 6 months later a dealer went belly up * had a Marauder for 33K Canadian. That's after I paid 500 over the Toronto price to buy local. If I had waited I would have saved 9 grand. Still love my car though.
