The dealer has had her for 3 days due to Airbag lite. They checked seat harness and it is ok.
They keep getting a bad reading on the computer but cannot trace the cause.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

My light would come on sometimes until the car was restarted.
My invoice from the dealer says, "FPN-14A005 Performed airbag system diagnosis with NGS code B1869in hard test fault performed pinpoint test diagnosis found circuit 608 BK/Y wire shorted to ground circuit 57 in C310B." They fixed it and it stopped happening. I hope this helps.

The last time I had mine in for the airbag light, they replaced the entire wire loom on the passenger side. They said there was an intermittant signal in one of the wires. They chose to replace rather than repair. They had to order the part which arrived 2 days later, on a Friday. Unfortunately, Ford packed the wrong wire loom in the box, so the dealer had to keep the car over the weekend, and I finally got it back that Monday evening.

I'm not making this up. I just went out for lunch and the damn light is back on. So, all of that techno. stuff I posted this morning may mean that's not a fix at all. Bummer...
