Traction Control ???

I put new tires on my 04MM and the dealer had no rear tires, so I put the old front tires on the rear until the new tires arrive. Now the car hesitates above 50 mph and the traction control light comes on. I have to turn off the TC switch to get up to speed. Will over size rear tires do the same? I have ordered larger than stock rear tires. 255's

Ive had 255/55 on the rear for quite some time now with no problems

You have to maintain the tire height (i.e. circumference, too) ratio within 5% or less between the front and rear tires so as not to impact the T/C.
