Hey fellas,

Have any of you pulled the stock sub? I am contemplating getting a drop 10-12" with an amp; but wondering if anyone has replace the stock one. The one I have in there now pops so I disconnected it.

Contact Magindat, he's got a sweet one that fits in the stock location.

Order an MTX thunderlink from John Kuhn, a site vendor. If you can handle wire cutters, crimpers and a multimeter, I can get you throught he install without running any wires through the car.

I did it the cheap and simple way. Removed the stock sub and amp. Remounted the stock amp, already had a cheap sub, slapped it in a box, connected some wires and ta da, works just dandy to hold me over until I upgrade the whole system sometime in the spring or summer.

Wait 'till you get it in your hand, then I'll explain. Otherwise, you'll be lost!!!!

Bottom line, it hangs right about where stock did. I have no pics. It's not mine. I did it for a fellow member out of Orlando.
