A couple days ago I decided to get the reflective red Bob White decals. I even paid 12 bucks for next day air! Patience is NOT one of my virtues.:D

I eagerly opened the big envelope to find two strips of decals:

one read: U D E R

the 2nd read: D E R

hmmm,....

well, I promptly e-mailed Bob to inform him of this mistake. That was around noon CST. I'll let everyone know what the outcome is.

I had the same problem a week ago and called up Bob . He said that he was sorry for the error and that he would send a couple
of reflective blacks . I received the order today with more than what I asked for so the guy did the right thing :)

I am kinda dismayed at the shipping costs myself. It's keeping me from buying the decals. Not the $4, the principle that shipping is inflated for profit. Unless the decals weigh like 7# or something that I don't know about. (but then again there's a flat rate envelope) I see this on ebay all the time. Sure, it's a single CD recording, but shipping will be $16.95. Riiiight.

I would rather see inflated costs for the decals - at least I don't exactly know how much they are to make and it isn't such an insult.

I was going to get the black reflectives so they only show up under headlights, so maybe this is something I can live without.

Once you get your decals, I think you will love them. I have the red non-reflective ones, and from the back, the red taillights and red letters go together great. It also helps for people to see what kind of car I have since most of them have never heard of it.

Well, Dammit!!!
I was a little suprised to find out this morning that Bob White had not returned my e-mail. So, I called him. His machine said he'd be on vacation 'til Aug. 8th! :(

Petrograde...
I also experienced the "mix-up with Bob White.
However, he sent the correct letters ASAP with a written apology for the error.
I now have several EXTRA letters in "ruby red" reflective.
If anyone is interested in having these for FREE...please PM me with your mailing address and I will gladly forward them to you.

FIRST COME...FIRST SERVE.

$2.00 paint pen from the hardware store will solve the problem. It fills the letters in better when painted. I prefer the painted look over stickers. Just my 2 dollars worth

Autotrimdesigns.com has many types to choose from, I opted for the domed type,, LOVE EM. Very good people to deal with and fast shipping. Mine are red, they match my eyes :shoot:

I am thinking about getting a set of CLEAR decals. I don't like the colors and seeing as how everyone has to have these, I might as well too.

I was thinking of clear but reflective. That way, they are only highlighted at night - in a spooky sort of way.

I would think that's what the black reflective ones would do - and they are offered that way.

Petro...unless it's on a blue or silver Marauder...not much to see... when light hits it at night...it reflects "white".

aahh, ok I thought the reflective black decals on black sounded a little goofy. (not as goofy as CLEAR though! LOL)But, I guess on blue or silver it would work.

I have Bob's Ford Blue ones---very conservative in daylight, but glow bright white with a little blue tinge at night---love 'em

Howdy!

Got my Black, non-reflective letters a few days ago. Haven't had time to put them on. I was fully prepared to just paint in the letters until I saw Bob's site. I think $28.99 plus shipping is an outrageous price for a few cents worth of plastic. At least mine spell "M-A-R-A-U-D-E-R". I also got the silver side window decals with the Mercury Head logo and they are very nice on my silver MM.

I just got my Leather Jacket today and it is sweet! The custom labels, zipper pull and lining are very cool. It came with an original signed letter written to me by name.

These are the only mods to the car so far; I gotta get my chip reprogrammed!
