jof2 is correct, wheel alone is likely 22-23 lbs. Call BFG ask tire wt.

i had 255/5017 g-force on a 19.8 lb wheel and total weight was 52 lbs. i believe the wheels weigh about 20 lbs each, no more being forged aluminum.

I just checked one on the bathroom scales, maybe not extremely accurate but I got 23 lb.

was that a polished forged wheel or a full size spare cast aluminum wheel? oh, btw - size of the magnetic drain plug or are you going to make me take it and bring it to the auto parts store?

That is the weight of a polished wheel (yours now) and the drain plug is a 14 mm. The seal is different from the OEM. It uses a flat plastic washer like older cars instead of the o-ring like the new one but I have no leak problems.

52 and 56 lbs? Seems awfully high to me. These wheels and tires are pretty light by heft

52lb is a lot to have added on to the car... do you guys think it would make sense to get a smaller spare?

Well, now that you mention it since I've got both types of spares if I'm going racing maybe I should change over to the mini spare just for that extra few pounds of weight savings. Anybody got the mini-spare weight handy?

I took my spare out when I went to the track...

I'll be taking my ex-wife out of the trunk when I go to the track....

Is that the cause of the the rear end noise some people are experiencing? :)

Does anyone know what a mini-space saving spare weights and what would one cost....Lighter the better when it comes to speed!

The spare weighs 32 lbs. and the jack weighs 10 lb with the hardware for a total of 42 lbs. savings. Man have you ever taken out the spare, it is hilarious looking in 18", looks like it should fit on a truck!
