The phantom dash rattle

I know in the grand scheme of things this is pretty minor but does anyone have the cause/cure for this sometimes rattle. It sounds like it comes from the area where the bottom of the clear instrument shield contacts the lower plastic dash trim, just behind the steering column. I tried wedging a small piece of foam rubber in there to no avail.

LOL a lot of things rattle in my car. The dash rattles somewhere on the pass side, the spare tire rattles in the trunk no matter how tight I make it and no matter how I position it, the rear package tray rattles w/ the bass from the stock stereo, and something in the rear headliner or trim rattles.
