New here, I dont own a marauder, would like to maybe in a year or so, it would have to be a daily driver for me. I joined the sight to find out as much info as I can on the marauder. Are the cars numbered? Does the vin state its a marauder or just has engine code for the dohc mill. Any special interior codes marauder only stuff? How are they in the snow? Any drive train issues and such?

New here, I dont own a marauder, would like to maybe in a year or so, it would have to be a daily driver for me (mine's a daily driver). I joined the sight to find out as much info as I can on the marauder. (Lots of info here -- the search is a good thing.) Are the cars numbered? (No) Does the vin state its a marauder or just has engine code for the dohc mill. (The '04 MM had a Marauder specific VIN. The '03 MMs were identified by the V engine code for the 4.6L DOHC. Don't worry, the insurance companies know. ) Any special interior codes marauder only stuff? (No- only 2 color interiors -- Dark Charcoal or Light Flint). How are they in the snow? (Just like any rear wheel drive car -- the BFGs are not real good in snow. A winter tire package like Blizzaks helps alot). Any drive train issues and such? (Some very early MMs had axle seal issues that were addressed under warranty.).
Welcome to the MM.Net. :welcome1: and don't wait too long to get one. :D

The only disagreement I have with the statements above is regarding "how are they in the snow." My '03 (without traction control, my new one has traction control) was terrible in the snow. I remember one night after about two inches of snow, I tried to get out of my driveway. I really tried for about a half hour - and couldn't get anywhere! With the stock tires and no traction control, my Marauder was absolutely worthless on un-plowed streets if there was any measurable snowfall.

Welcome aboard!
I put on 16" steel wheels with 70 series snows on them and 3, 60# bags of tube sand in a rubbermaid tub in the trunk.
I have no problems at all.
I have an '03 w/o T/C btw. The key to driving in the snow is knowing HOW to drive in the snow. Start off in second gear and use neutral when slowing rapidly or going down a hill.
In the odd chance I do get stuck, I have the sand with me.
This has been my DD for 4 1/2 years.

Snow is all about tires. Get snow tires and it is night to day different vs the BFgoodrich tires.

With snow tires my Marauder runs great in the white stuff.
