We finished this yesterday, the car is from south Florida it has 87 K on the clock we added our Vortech air to air kit, along with addco sway bar, mezirie electric water pump, 39 lb injectors 05 GT maf, new fuel pump the car made 375 RWHP at 8 PSI. Steve has already started on another Mark 8 today, as well as a 03 Marauder from New York.

375RWHP @8PSI on a Mark VIII must be a record?

I would like to own an LSC Mark VIII one day!

A lot different then the Mark IV I owned w/a 460.

All those mods and that guy can't afford new headlight casings?! He must like not being able to see at night.

I think it is an awesome car.

At least he didn't black out his windshield.:lol:

He has them, and will install them when he gets the car home. The problem with the 96/97/98 that had HID head lights is Sylvania quit making them and the ballast, you can still buy the head lights with out the bulbs, I sell a retro kit for the HID lights now, we sell about two a week, Mark 8 owners took in the rear, especially over the 93/96 stock headlights with time the reflector on the low beam turns black and kills the head light brightness, in 1996 the offered the HID for the LSC and continued this into 98, car manufactures are supposed to make parts for ten years, this is not always the case, but so many 97/98 owners complained Lincoln did make a replacement head light kit for about 900.00 but that is not HID. I just bought a 97 that is very clean, it's a light Tan and it has a rod knock, so I have a 03 Marauder motor, I am going to install, I will go through the rear end, put a posi in it with 373 gears, while the engine is out will install LTH, and then a Novi 1200, this car has three of the window buttons missing, I guess it is just a cover over the switch has any one seen this, and is there a replacement? also the driver mirror is cracked, I am looking for that to, its still available as a Assembly from the dealer for about 650.00 OUCH http://www.markviii.org/htdocs/dc/images/sad.gif
