Yes. I have a signed e-mail and an official plaque, both given to me by Steve Babcock.

They Sucked! Ford called them "a failed product design". I understand wanting them for keeping it factory though.

Mine worked fine for the first 3 yrs. If they were still made I would have replaced with OEM.

I loved the original wipers, they worked great. Martyo was nice enough to send me his when mine went bad 3 years later.
I would love to get another set of originals.

Does anyone have a pic of what the "original" ones look like, or maybe some clues/hint to look for?

Often refered to as Beam Blade wipers, Trico has a replacement similar to the original called Innovision. The big (ugly) difference is that the mounting for the wiper arm is much larger. Trico has a newer design, as do other wiper companies, that are considered beam blade in design, with a vertical rib added along the length of the blade, like the Neoform.

Interesting, I think I have some icons on mine, they're huge and ugly IMHO. But since I rarely and probably will never drive my MM in really bad weather I should probably try and find some OEM ones too while I can. If Kirk gets his, someone pm me with an offer on thiers.
