WE had a storm yesterday... got a good amount ofsnow too. soifigured i would go out and brush my car off and move it so my dads plow truck could start plowing my parking lot of a driveway. we brush off all the vehicles and the plow truck dies. we take my optima from my MM and put it in the 86 F150 plow truck to get her back in her parking spot.... these are shot from halfway threw the storm. theywere taken about 6pm and it snowed up until midnight.

:burn:Yeah central mass got hit hard... I could not believe how well my MM handled in the snow! I have Blizzaks all around and 200 lbs of weight in the trunk... Handled like a tank, I was passing front wheel drive vehicles that were getting stuck... This car handled 10X better than I thought it would... Had to start out in 2nd gear alot, but that is fine

It took Phoebe almost 3 hours to bring me home safely yesterday....about 55 miles. She has her snow shoes on. Slow and steady. I stayed right and let all the SUVs zoom by me. Only PITA was the ice build-up on the wipers....left the window open so I could reach out and whack the driver's wiper.

Ah yes, I'll be leaving Alabama tomorrow to get back into that. I'm not going to lie, my Marauder handles like you put one of those 3 wheeled moving casters under each tire. I've made a contingincy plan to ride out the next strom in VA if I have to.

Drove home from Albany on I90 in it yesterday. Normal 2hrs took 3.75 hrs. Chrysler mini van with snows worked real well. We are expecting 10-20"+ tomorrow night into Sunday or Monday, then the lake effect machine will kick in after the storm passes... Yep winter's here.

i havedriven I90 (thepike) to NY twicenow... once to go to NYC and once to go to Albany. i LOVE that drive. in the good weather, put the windows down, music up and sit back and cruise. iwould love to make the trip again in the spring... :cough: :cough:

Problem is people do not know how to drive in snow. VERY annoying. I just noticed they upped the expected snow totals here for the next storm to 24+", great, I have to work 16+ hours during that period.

We got about a good 7" yesterday alone. Thank god I registered my other car in time. I had to move MM out of the driveway so it could be plowed, let me tell you, KDW2's absolutely *****ING SUCK in snow. It took me 20 minutes to get back into my driveway, and I only had to go about 12 feet. Took a lot of rubber off them last night lol.

ya im working in the morning and probably going to quit my job monday and go back to my old job... i cant travel anymore and dont really care to travel just to work.

i too cant believe that somehow in the 8 months that we are not "traumatized" by the snow it seems 95% of the world forgets how to drive in inclimate weather. GO SLOW! TAKE IT EASY! WATCH THE F*ING ROAD!!!

i only drive when i have to in the snow and then i only take the ways that i absolutely know. so i can brake well before i know where the stop sign is. even then its dangerous. thursday coming home i had to slide/drive in grass to stop these crappy KDW2 tires... but i saved my MM from being totalled and kept her damage free.

Ever think of putting a vaccumn seal on the bottom of your Ranger?

Make it totally untowable/moveable.

he was told when he bought the ranger .... if it doesnt go fully into park, place it in neutral and start it then.... just make sure you have your ebrake on. he didnt see an e brake pedal and he asked "wheres the e brake?"...... hte guy looked at him and said " dude it laying on the ground"

he didnt even get home. an hour or so away from the guys house it blew up. it wasabout a 2 1/2 hour drive. thanks to AAA and my buddy following him in his camaro they got home.

AAA is not supposed to tow an extreme custom like his truck for free. (100 miles free towing was included in the Gold membership) the thow truck guy said he wasnt supposed to but he loved the truck so much.

no he hasnt got the 5.0 yet. we have been considering some other options. i would like to see a turbo Volvo 5cyl in there and he would just like to have it running. ours eyes are open.

here is the damage to his motor. the head bolts were HAND TIGHT!!:shake: every bolt just came right out. no resistance at all. NOTHING WAS TORQUED DOWN!!!:argue::stupid:

im suprised he made it an hour honestly. notice something wrong with the head?

holy crap :O

Why not find a wrecked cobra and put a dohc with the M112 in? That'd be officially one of the most bad *** rangers ever. Or, you could make a low rider lightning bolt and put a lightning 5.4 S/C in there :D
