Hi guys, I just dropped off my spare stock MM driveshaft at a shop who is going to make a new custom shaft using it for measurements. However, I am doing critical speed calc's to decide what diameter, material, and wall thickness I want to use. I need to know if the stock shaft was 3" OD or 3.5" OD, for reference purposes. It was one or the other. I am pretty sure it was 3" OD but I am not going under my car in <30 deg temps to measure the one on it!
Thanks

It is 3.5", as best I can remember. I have the dimensions and critical speed spreadsheet somewhere.

I'll dig around for it.

All I need to know is dia, I can assume the type of aluminum alloy and thickness since they won't make huge differences in critical speed. 3.5 sounds right now that I think about it (and now that I look at a 3" roll of tape, it looks too small for what I was carrying around before).
