Hey guys, where the oil/batt gauge plate is on the console, the glue where it attaches to the rubber strip along the top has adhesive glue slowly seeping out. I laughed when I saw that on the OASIS report, "gooey gauge" was reported and repaired at some point in the past. Well it's getting gooey again. Has anyone else had this? It is seeping down enough that I am going to have to take it apart at some point and use something like black silicone that will actually cure.

VEB, I had that issue in The Blackbird. I forget what I used to clean it...either isopropyl alcohol or Goo-Gone...haven't seen it yet in Phoebe...

It looks like they used a non hardening "dum dum" type adhesive.
I have the same issue. Piece of :censor:.

That causes gooey headliner....
I also have/had this problem.
It starting oozing in the summer heat.
Just a few weeks ago while it was freezing out I took a tye-wrap & used the end to try to clean it up. It balled up easily due to the cold. In the summer it's to sticky.
Just use something that won't scratch the plastic, do it in cold weather & it will "booger" right up.
It will probably ooze again in the summer?

Mine is starting this as well. I'm going to try to clean it up with alcohol.

When I had my center console apart to install my cupholder light from marauderconcepts.com I just rolled it off with my finger, brushing it back towards the top. It rolled off like rubber cement, then I put the top rubber strip back on and bada-bing bada-boom, done.
