Lets say for pure discussion that I might want to sell my 300A with 2800 miles to date....NO MODS except for tint and decals...
Should I modify to the hilt or just let it go the way it is??
Which condition renders the car more sales worthy??
Which condition would bring the most return on my investment??
( I have approx. $29K in it to date.)
I would appreciate any and all input.
Thanks.

Joe - I would leave it stock. It would cost you more to modify it than you'll get in return. You would probably eat the cost of the mods. IMHO.

Don't sink another dime in it if you are serious about selling it.
You will not get your money back. We already know that 98% of the folks out there don't give a dang about what mods it has or doesn't have. The other 2% hang out here and will want to do the mods themselves or at least under their watchful eyes. :D

The thing that sucks is this: It's not worth 29K. I have 300 less miles than you. Just for *****s and grins I checked Kelly Blue Book the other day, 25K in excellent condition. ::(:
If you're thinking about selling you are, evidently, NOT driving it enough!
I will make two predictions regarding your situation. First, you will never get back what you already have invested in the car. Neither will I. Two, if you put the chip in the car you will forget about selling the car. It makes a big difference.

So, heres the deal...I will KEEP THE MM and decide if modifying is in MY best interest.
I appreciate all the input to date from those of you who have replied to my thread.
They were all good advice.
When one lives in the country (dirt/gravel roads) with a black vehicle, a true 'autophile' is reluctant to use the car too much for obvious reasons.
Yes, the road conditions existed when I considered/purchased the car but that does not change ones attitude in wanting to keep the vehicle clean...just as those who do not drive in the rain or during winter 'salting' periods.
What a silly dilemma this has become!!
We gotta be nuts about these MMs to place so much emphasis on "cool"...and DIRTY cars are NOT cool!!
So, you do whatcha gotta do......
