Brake rotor question

I don't drive my MM every day,, usually on the weekends in nice weather just to cruise. I notice when I wash it, I have rust on the rotors. Is this normal? Of course, every other car I have owned, you NEVER saw the rotors unless you removed the wheels.. Can I count on my MM brothers for an explanaton?

I thought perhaps that was the answer,but just wnated to be sure,, I don't like RUST of any kind even close to the Black Beauty, I don't even like to drive through Gary Indiana!!
