This exhaust took a while to get installed but as the pictures show it is well worth it... it looks amazing and I can't wait to complete the rest of the motor install to start her up....

That idler pulley on the belt tensioner is huge, (did you change it?) If so,you probably had to space it away from the timing cover, right?
If I remember correctly, some modification to the blower bracket will be necessary

You are going to love it. I think I have a few thousand miles on mines and I love it. if you have never had wheel spin, you will now. Enjoy and nice pictures.

Looks like a bit of a tight fit around the Metco watts link arms, any problems there?

I have to post some newer pics...
We were able to tuck the exhaust up some more to give clearance..
plus we also cut a 1.5" length off of the pipe on the backside of the muffler...
this aligned the center of the hump for the exhaust going over the metco's...
thus maximixing the space avail...
now even with the rear airbags deflated and the car sitting on the ground; the exhaust doesn't rub or bump...

yes Zack we ended up using the 98 cobra front cover and the three bolt steel (high tension) idler pulley...
Our next set is supercharge bolt on... I figure it will be fun... and yes some modifications and custimazation will problably be needed...
Our stock idler needed to be ground slightly to allow full pulley travel and max tension at all times...
Are you guys running a 6 or 8 rib setup?

We have planned on going with the stock 6-rib...
mannly because of the expense of upgrading all the required pulleys to 8-rib,.....

I hope you have better luck then me, mine has more clearance around the watts linkage then yours in the 1st pics you posted, and it bumps it when going over rough roads, driving over speed bumps ect. I have moved mine several times trying to get the clearance, yet it still bumps and rubs. Also i dont know if it's my type of SC or not but the exhaust note is very hallow sounding, I was hoping for a little more growl. Best of luck! Seneca

Loco1234......
I hope you have enough room between the tail pipes and the gas tank??
These SS systems "GROW" as much as 1"-1.5" in length when HOT.....Mine got against the tank after a WOT blast and had to be cut a bit to prevent this!!:argue:
Hope you post a sound file after you "git 'er done"!!!
Looks great!!:D

Ya I have moved the entire exhaust up into the cavities under the car much more... There is now ample clearance over the metco's... even with rear airbags completely deflated for about a year the metco's still come nowhere near the the exhaust.... I really can't see it bumping... but "it could happen"

Interesting... didn't think about that... but we di cut some off of ours already to make the exhaust loop going over the metco's more centered in the loop.. this in turn did clearance some more room between the exhaust and the gas tank....

X-pipe vs. H-pipe? I've heard two Mach 1's with the same mods expect one had X and the other had an H. X was hallow and loud while the H was crisp and throaty.

Ya the car has been holed up in a garage for about a year now...
Im still waiting on the new SCT race software update and the new mandrel bent intake tubes
Then I'll be nearly driveable...
Ill drive it straight to get the Tru Trac and 31 spline axles installed.

Well me and PaCammer do run at the track...
just not the drag strip...
We go up to Pocono International raceway...
@yrs ago after the first round of mods we showed up a couple of ferrari's and a few lambo's etc...
They called the marauder a Glorified Taxi Cab...
then we hit the track and The Marauder out aceelerated them from 60-120mph on the straights and even hung tight enough in the corners that a ferrari trying to leave mre in the dust on the "inside the main track sicanes" almost lost control and nearly hit a hay bail...
It wa an awesome feeling seeing the **** on there faces after the "Glorified Taxi Cab" just kicked there ass... i evetually got black falgged that day for passes on the front strighht during a no passing run....
... but I hear from the Pantera car club (whom Im a member) that the other clubs were *****ing so much about the car that the officails were just looking to make them happy...
But I have spoke on here b4 about getting a Marauder day at a road course track... It would be awesome...
Ps.s car has the Front & Rear Sway bars , Zack and Mack "angle adjusting" control arms , Metco Watts Linkage, Widened tires , Fully reabuilt and beefed up tranny with a Custom Jerry W. tune w/ the SCT racer software package for personel tweaks..."you should see it downshift automatically when i brake b4 going into a turn... never had an automatic act like this one is custom programmmed to... race mode is overdrive off...
Not to mention I was running 10-12psi through an intercooled Vortec S-trim...
Now im gonna run about 16-18psi on a T-trim...
I figure someday ill come bring the car to the drags.... probably for a marauder event up northward but it will literally be my first drag event... even though I and even the Marauder has seen alot of track time....

Nice pic's... bet it sounds awesome...
What is that black piece underneath the rear bumber that has it fastened to the trunk bottom? Never saw one of those before...Looks like it would prevent the " Bumper cover Sag"

Thats called a PROGUARD...
many vendors on this site sell them...
They will help prevent bumper sag and also prevent your bumper from become a parachuite on the highway.... you will now cause the air to flow over the progaurd and past the bumper rather then inside the bumper...
It will help out aerodynamically...
I believe it even claims to help out enough that you will get better highway gas mileage.....
