I have been playing with my tuner alittle more this week and Jacked up the WOT shift pressures and it sure feels nice,do most of you guys just set it to max or what is the norm,I have it set to 25% tonight and boy does that feel right :D
I had my local tuner Mike Dez Racing do custom 91 and 93 octane tunes for me but he left the shift points, etc alone.

Most folks do not, or can not tinker with this. I opt not to. I do not have the smarts. Move "this" number or setting and something else gets affected.
I thought my wot was set too low at 3rd gear....found out it was a dirty fuel filter. Also learned from these other owners that 2003 transmissions dont tolerate hard, high speed shifts very well. Hence the upgrades, so often refered to in this site. When change is needed I call Dennis Reinhart.

He still has nightmares of my Lightning breaking the wheels between shifts, especially the 1-2 from the Monster Box that Greg Evans built for me. He always had to stop and get out, to take up on the straps to hold it down. Mike D. ( ITLRUN ) Fall River, Ma.:run:

Thanks...I was standing near Mike the whole time he was tuning thats why I know he was only tuning for power, I didn't ask for anything else from him,and I wanted to play abit with the tuner myself anyway.I never had an SCT handheld before so i'm new to this.Mike has been all over my 02 Mustang and did a great job it,but its also a 5 speed so I have no base knowledge to pull from for shift pressures. (yes I have searched this with the "Search Button")
On another note I have had my K&N CAI on for 3 months now and I had some part throttle "bucking" in 4th almost felt like 3-4 "hunting" I took the MAF sensor out and shot it full of CRC MAF Cleaner and shes as good as new again, gotta love that stuff...:banana2:
