2007, was it good for you?

During 2007 I of course got the Marauder, and joined the Sunshine State Marauders. I met a lot of new people who are very knowledgable and friendly. In addition to that, I also became engaged. Overall 2007 was a good one for the books. How about you?

It has been a rough 2007 for me. I had lost a few side jobs that helped pay part of the MM payment and other bills. Now to look in 2008 for some part time work.

It was a good year for us. We had a record year here at the store which is great. A lot of people have struggled trying to make it in business. I one the SC raffle which allowed me to take the GM to the next level. Then there is the Fairlane which has been a life long dream. It has been great to get to know the MM community and be a part of it. We have all had our highs lows and many of us have shared this here. I am proud to br here and wish all of you a Happy and safe New Year.

Pretty good year for me. Family is healthy and happy. Much less work related traveling in the second part of the year which is a good thing.
Got to work out a bit more, and I am hopeful to get into decent shape in 2008 :D

Bought a Blue MM, Bought a Trilogy MM, Bought 2 adorable dogs, built a 12x28 Deck, Resided 2 sides of the house and painted 3 sides, had 2 huge house parties with all of our friends, had a blast in Seymour, Went 11.42 in the Kenne Bell car.
No tickets
No STD's
No attempts on my life.

And Becky still keeps me around.

I began with a job that sent me to California for 3 months and I decided that wasn't for me because I wanted to be close to my family and my grandfather was holding on by a wing and a prayer. He passed after I quit the job in March so I was home when he died which made me happy... I now have a desk job and I am not being shipped all over and get to spend time with the fam and g/f... I also purchased my marauder in may I believe and that was a pain in the ass to start but now I am happy with it... I decided to end the year with a little christmas present for myself and bought myself a K&N Cold Air Intake!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR... Though this year was pretty good, I hope 2008 treats me a little better... HAPPY NEW YEAR EFVERYONE!!!! DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE... STAY SAFE... GOD BLESS:toast:

2007.....darn year went by too fast!

Things are great at work.
Things are great at home.
Got a loving wife.
Got 2 great kids and a neat son-in-law.
Got 4 great dogs.
Got Stage 1 mods installed on the Bluesmobile.
E-Dubb moved out to a place of his own:banana:.
My golf game (still) sucks:mad2:.
Met Bradley G., good guy, other than he's a Bear's fan.:coolman:
Also met Zack, Killjoy, and knine (toss-up on this one ;)).
Had a chance to make even more friends at MMV and SSHS7.
Scored my first offical "kill."
The Packers are going to the playoffs, lead by a "washed up old guy" that now holds virtually all NFL quarterback records:bows:.

If I can keep the old ticker going for another 13 hours, and I'm still drawing breath at midnight, I guess I could say 2007 has been a great year!:D

Finally got back to work after a 3-1/2 year layoff with a knee injury, bought a house, bought a BLUE MM, Zack and I installed F.I.T. # 26 on my black 03 and met a GREAT girl (Trish). So no complaints here :beer:

2007 has been the worst, most painfull year of my life. Upside is that deaths, funerals and weddings will educate you as to whom you true friends are if you didn't already know.

Things are beginning to look up, I am hoping that 2008 is better for us.

Well Lost my Father in Law who was a Great Person, Lost my Dog Kibe after 13 1/2 years also. When you loose family member's it could never be a good year. On the other hand my family's health seams good so far, the bill's are getting paid and the car's are running good. Also have been Blessed by having some really good friends in the SSM.

In 2007 I started a new job (same company, different division/role), with far less stress and a much more manageable workload. The hobbies took a back seat, come middle of the year, when I got engaged, which led to an October marriage. November / December, I started to re-engage in hobbies, and am looking forward to home ownership in 2008:)

Lets see my Dad Died in 2006 so that year was the worst.

2007 I didn't make much money, although my stock doubled. I bought my DTR. Almosted Finished setting up my main Home Theatre, Had my Projector in the shop 3 times (it is still being fixed). Lucky I have a spare.

Figured out how to make many more Millions. Many and many more.

Solved a few personal and religious problems.

Am essentially set up from 2007 to be set for the rest of my life.

Met most of you guys and gals.

Found out that there is a girl who works at my local pancake place that looks just like jennifer love hewit.

Had accupunture and cured a 25 year neck and back ache.

all in all it hasn't been too bad and pretty good mostly.

And on Dec 26th found my Black Full length coat I've been looking for for several years.

In Oct of 2007 I finally made it back to the states after being oversea for 5 years...Bought my first House and picked up my 03 Marauder so those 3 all in a month pretty much made it a good year for me... I was expecting to be in the states for awhile but I guess it wasnt in the cards... I spent New Years day of 2008 in this hell hole, it will pay the bills so I guess it could be worse. Hope everyone has a great 08.

I'd say 2007 was a good year for me. Why?
1) I'm still able to fog a mirror. And no trips to the ER for me all year.
2) My son turned 16 in March and hasn't scratched a vehicle, yet.
3) I joined MercuryMarauder.net
4) I bought a beautiful 04 Reinhart Marauder.
5) Met a few real nice MM owners, including the previous owner of my MM and Dennis Reinhart.
6) That addictive sound the blower makes every time I stomp on it.
7) No speeding tickets (and only one warning) for enjoying that sound.

All in all 2007 was a good year for me.Only down side was going to SSHS.A great four day road trip on the way down with good friends that included doing the "Tail of the dragon" and witnessing some great drag racing only to have it ruined by a few people who will never change.It really broke my spirit and I will never think the same way again about people.

Overall 2007 was a good one for the books. How about you?
2007 was good for me; but the years are getting way too short. Became an Empty Nester officially in October 2007. No kids for the first time in 30 years. So far I haven't found a downside to this. :rofl:
