Can you tell me more about how your garage doors clear your four post lift?

Maybe even let me see some pics with them open closed and the lift "stacked"?

Can you "stack" your cars and still get the garage door closed?

What is the total height needed with two cars "stacked" on the lift?

Thanks!

Marty there's plenty of clearance for the doors, although I have not tried stacking cars with the door opened, or opening the door with my truck on the lift, as that's it's only purpose, a work platform.
I'll get the info and post it up. I think you've seen my post about the install.

Sorry I didn't see the post, and it took a phone call from a mutual friend to alert me. :o

Thanks Mike.

What I would like to see is the lift-to-overhead door clearance with the door opended and closed, if that is possible.

I am evaluating the lifts as a storage solution, not just a work platform.

And with respect to that friend, I know high people ib low places and low people in high places!! :D

Thanks for the help!!

Ken, Chris will give him a good whack with the newspaper when she gets home, tonight.

He'll be rubbing his eyes and asking what was that for. She'll tell him she's not sure, yet, but it's certain, he's done something.

Marty if the overhead door is a problem you might get the clearance to ceiling by having a roll-up door installed.

Glad to be of help

If your garage isn't deep enough to set the lift back beyond the overhead door when it's raised you might want to go to a roll-up door anyway.
