Yes it will work. Anything from a Ford 8.8 will work.

If I were to change LSD's, I'd go with a Moser or an Eaton.

If your going to replace the rear and you are SC'd I'd go with a 31-spline unit and 31-spline axles.

I agree if all you're going to do is change the clutches then that's a cheap quick job, but if you want to upgrade the LSD to an Eaton or Auburn unit then it's the best time to go 31 spline. 2007 CVPI axles are 31 spline and I bleieve I direct fit.

Not a big fan of the aftermarket difs. I've seen alot of them break. Nothing beats a Track-Lok with an extra clutchpack on each side. I've rebuild mine around every 20k or so. It works pretty damn good. The 31 spline is a good idea but not nessisary if you arn't cutting steaper than 1.7's 60's. You can just find a carrier out of a truck they are pretty cheap. I'm cutting low 1.60's with stock 28 spline's on my stang. But then again that car weighs...half? hahahaha
