First, thank you to all the members who advised me on torque converter, exhaust systems, cold air intake kits, flash tuners, underdrive pulleys and electric water pumps and so much more.

Here is the list of parts I ordered from Dennis Reinhart this morning:
* SCT X3 tuner
* Meziere Electric Water Pump
* Addco Rear Sway Bar
* Precision Industries Torque Converter
* 180 Degree Thermostat
* Pro Guard rear skid plate
* Cold air intake kit
---------------------
Total - $2,150.00
:beer:

Recall, I already have the 4.10 gears and Metal matrix drive shaft.

What's next:
- a supercharger (Trilogy or Reinhart?)
- KOOKS Complete Long Tube Headers and Exhaust
- sleeping in my garage when my wife finds out
:argue:

The addiction has begun and there is no cure.

The need for speed is not a need at all, it's an addiction that has driven many a man mad in the quest for speed.

I agree. But, it is Winter. When my wife sends me to sleep in the garage, I want warmer weather.

I can hear your credit card squealing all the way over here in FL.

If the Marauder is in the garage with you, it's not bad to sleep in. ;)

I had this kit and a deep pan. My tranny was just inspected and looked good.

It had 70+K and 176 runs down the 1,320', of which 50+k were S/C.

I think they replaced the clutches, only worn one was the OD Band.

A good start, but you need more mods to hook and GO! You're not going to get the traction you need without good control arms and wider tires or DRs to launch. Unless your a street only performance guy, the track results are what count.

Good Luck

Yes, this Level2 kit is what you need!!!! Add a deep pan with a plug and plan on frequent fluid changes (6qts every 3rd oil change) or add a cooler. I do the changes.

Control arms and sway bars are also a very smart buy.

I just spoke with Dennis, this item is need IF you are supercharged. You do not need the kit for non-supercharged Marauders.

Sorry, I guess we read too much into your sig. If you are taking the trans out for the PI u may want to reconsider.

The idea is to save labor since your trans will already be out for the converter and to beef it up BEFORE you supercharge.

When I joined here, I saw many instances of people breaking after SC, so I beefed up BEFORE and was ready for anything I wanted to do in the future. So, when I spent big bucks on the charger I didn't have worries that something would unexpectedly break and cost more big bucks!

Dennis is right, but he did my trans when I was still NA!

A built transmission is going to hold up better long term and make you grin.

...I understood the rear cooling kit was desirable/advisable to install & much easier with the transmission out.

According to Dennis, you only need this if you are super charged.

I ordered the transmisison cooler.

OK, but the rear cooling kit I was referring to is for the cylinder heads.
