After lurking for a year and then being a registered member for another year, I bought my Marauder today. It's was slightly smacked on the drivers side but the damage is minimal but it did come with a salvage title. I paid $4,000 for it but I figuerd I could scrap it if I wanted my money back. It has 79,000 miles on it. Its' bulid date is 6/02. Must be one of the very first. VIN#2MEHM75VX3X610741 I drove the car 70 miles to my house and had a blast the whole drive. I knew I would love this freaking car.:D:D:D

Thanks guys! I'm two hours west of Lewavul. I'll check my schedule. As for using SEARCH, I can say that I'm a proud and trained user from Crownvic.net. I also want to say thanks to those offering to help me find parts. It's great to finally be here.

Cool, another Kentucky guy. Take it to Speedy's (Triplet St) and get it tuned and let me know how it runs.

Welcome to the collective George!

You have to make it to the KY meet. It will be worth the short 2 hour drive.

I know Greg very well. He tuned my 93 Crown Vic. after I installed an '01 Power Improved engine, 4r70w trans, Comp cams and FRPP headers.

how big is this dent? :bricks:

About 6 feet long, 6" deep, a foot wide.

Not really all that bad, if only the original owner had purchsed it prior to insurance settlement/salvage title it would have been bid a lot higher.

Yes, FOUR grand. Two beat up doors with broken mirror/keyless pad (B pillar is fine) doors open and close. Rear quarter panel from the rear door to the wheel opening is sc***** flat. The guy didn't want it repaired and took the insurance check for a total loss. I don't know what they paid him.

My Marauder will be going down there to him and my 95 Cobra will follow.

Header panel, grille, headlight, turn signal, 2 doors, not bad, all bolt on. that rear quarter is gonna have to be cut out and replaced. That'll cost a little. add an OK paint job to the mix and I'd say It's about 4-5 grand worth to get it in good shape assuming friends and self-labor for a lot of it.

Good deal. I'd have done it.

Buy a GM smacked on the other side and you just about got all the parts!!

Exactly my plan. The former owner pulled the tips off after he bought it and pulled the fog lights after he cracked one of them. He says he has them stored somewhere but couldn't remember where. He said he would call me when he found them. I have a buddy who will repair and paint it for me . All I have to do is find the parts and so far that doesn't seem to be an issue. I also have a couple of members trying sell me parts so it shouldn't be a big deal. Thanks Guys!:D

Ok so maybe I was wrong.. Sorry but I heared about alot of people making Vic's look like marauders and sell them for mad profit.
