Just my preference I don't like the way they make the car sound. I had them on my '95 CV, and it sounded horrible, I just removed them totally from the system and had straight pipes with 2 Dynomax converters and the car seemed much quicker and sounded a lot better.

I thought you bought your car used, how would you know if they've been on for more than 2 years?

The only Magnaflow system I like is the Magnapak cat-back that is on my friends 2000 Mustang GT, he has LT headers and X-pipe now, sounded awesome before the front stuff and sounds crazy now. I think Magnaflows with a H-pipe sound good on a Marauder but with an X-pipe my ears don't like the exhaust note.

Agreed, The magnaflows with an X pipe sound kinda ricerish where as Flows with the X pipe still retain a deep muscular tone that just becomes more agressive due to the X pipe. That being said Im almost tempted to try MAC mufflers, I heard them on some mustangs with X pipes and they sound like Flowmasters on Roids.

Yea, my friend has an '01 GT with no cats, x pipe and Mac muffler's, it's ridiculous. In the car forget it, he has to be half deaf by now.

Yeah thats why Im afraid to switch from the delta flows, I still want the noise to be somewhat tame

12.5-13.2 depending on tires and driver.

I'd say mostly driver. Don't be dismayed when your first run is 13.9+. The John Force coming off the line will be the culprit.

That's why I went with Super 40s instead of the 40 Series Delta Flows. I'm going to see how I like my exhaust when I do all new 2.5" from the front cats back. Might switch to Super 44's. Yes MAC mufflers are great for making noise. I haven't heard them on a MM yet but have heard plenty on foxbody mustangs the that deep throaty sound. One of my friends has a 92 mustang gt with LT headers, no cats and 2.5" to 3" piping with MAC pro chamber mufflers and being on the sides or in the rear within 50ft it the sound just smacks you in the face, it's so violent.

The ProChamber is the cross over pipe, the MAC mufflers are called Flowpaths.

Anyway, Im building a custom exhaust for my Marauder as we speak and Im going with a Prochamber and some Flowpaths. My friend has the same setup on his 92 5.0 and it sounds wicked, makes the car sound like it has a bigger engine than it does. Should sound nice on the Rauder. I'll post up a before and after vid when I get it done.

My setup will be very similar to the thread starters, 12's would be nice, thats what Im shooting for.

I thought you bought your car used, how would you know if they've been on for more than 2 years?

The guy I bought the car from gave me that info.

Me: "Wow, exhaust looks new under there. When did that get installed?"
Seller: "Holding up well, it's been well over two years now."
