Passing North thru Charlotte,NC yesterday

A friend of mine at lunch said he spotted an MM, BLack , headed north on
I-85 here in Charlotte ,NC yesterday--had a tag he believes said--" '03 Merc"
and it was a Texas plate----------

any one here......?????????

I have a 2003 MM, black of course, but i have PA plates, mine is all stock but once the extended warranty is up.......
