Does ford keep track where employees are?
Reason I'm asking I'm trying to track someone who painted my Grand Marquis 10 years back, the dealer closed down and never and I heard back.

Why? What could they serve you 10 years down the road for? Do you realize how many GM's they have painted and probably couldn't remember yours?

He probably wants the same guy for a paint job, because he was happy with the work, thats if he's even still in the field.

Absolutely the case here in Canada, too... I work in the field, so know PIPEDA (our privacy legislation) quite well. Ford releasing such information would definitely be a breach of the employee's privacy - even if it was to help the guy out (assuming the scenario posted above, wanting to give the guy more work, based on him doing a good job before).
