I noticed last week that my radio was now showing the Artist, Song being played and the Radio Station. Does anyone else have this feature working? Is it a feature that can be turned on/off?

Radio Data System button on your radio. Not all stations send the data.

Mine does it also...but I only notice this when I change cds!:)
Wow, am I really one of the few who actually read the manual throughly? I read this the second day I had the car and filled my presets with all RDS stations (most all of the really good ones have it), and now I can finally know who sang what when I'm channel surfing (when parked that is  ).

I like using it too but it would be nice if the stations would keep it working and/or not just put up their call letters. When it's working and in synch with the music, it's great. Only FM of course.

It's amazing what you can find when you read the owners manual!

Most Radio stations only broadcast their call signals when first implementing RDS. The station will broadcast only it's legal ID until such time as they can interface the RDS transmitter with their programming.

That's not so bad... Our Marauders have the ability to receive AM STEREO broadcasts, did you know that?

It's fun to listen to the "AM Stereo" when there are problems with the signal. It tries to go into the stereo mode with the hiss and noise.

I did not know this! But I usually listen to Sirius, so AM/FM is a rarity.

I listen to talk radio, so it doesn't really matter. I have heard talk in stereo, kinda weird, it's like people are sitting in different parts of the car.

Hey -- Don't forget about the Un-Documented feature of our radios: Speed Volume! It's user adjustable: It subtley raises the volume when the car speeds up, and turns it back down when the car slows. To activate: While the radio is turned on, press and hold the volume knob in. After about 8 seconds, you'll be given the cance to adust "Speed Vol" from 1 to 10.

Does it automatically turn up when the blue smoke starts rolling from the rear (RPM based)? :burnout:

Hmmmm. I don't know. I'm usually interested in the music coming from the tail-pipes instead of the radio when doing burn-outs! :D
