Just my luck i recived my x3 power flash from lidio today loaded it up and went for a ride and i was impressed what a difference. I did not get enough time to play, because of the weather the snow came down made the streets to slick to play.

I wanted to thank Lidio for a excellent product and tune and a pleasure to do bussiness with outstanding service GREAT JOB LIDIO

Well today the roads are not as slick, still not dry but good enough to play with the car. I have to say at first i was impressed after today i was amazed of the difference a tune made. I heard it before but its true it did feel like i was driving a different car. by the way i did spin the wheels and kepp the car in a fishtail for the distance of 6 to 7 telephone poles. Straightened out and got some grip accelerated and in no time look down at speedo and was crossing 120. The acceleration is like a beast with the car always staying in a power gear i went on the highway hit it going up the ramp accelerated and soon enough i was past 135mph so i back off. The roads are still wet.

Its true the tune is one of the best mods to do well worth the money spent

That's why I try to beat it into the heads of the newbies. I waited about a year and a half. I kick myself still for waiting so long. We just bought a second Marauder a couple weeks ago and as soon as we can afford it it will be sporting a Reinhart tune.

The x3 is the new version from sct of the xcal 2. I sure Lidio and others here can give you the tech differences. I can tell you it works great easy to use nice display and it does have dual analog inputs to monitor egt/afr and other sensors, i dont think the xcal 2 has that but i never used a xcal 2.

the box list the user parameters fuel, spark, axle ratio, maf selection, tire size, fuel injector size, cooling fan on/off temp, disable tration control, two step on/off rpm, shift control ,idle rpm

you can compare them with the xcal2 see if any are different . Of course it reads and clears codes and high speed data logging sct has there preloaded tunes whitch you dont need to bother with. i loaded Lidios tune

The X3 holds 3 tunes the xcal2 holds 2, newer software revisions. FYI, you can only change as much as the tuner allows within the program.

Do you have to go to Detroit or can the tune be installed at home based on just the computer code?

hey dwstang67, you and me almost have the same mods and i have been iffy about buying a preloaded tune like the one you have. If possible I would like to come by sometime and see how much did the tune wake up your MM.

How are the shifts?

Are they quicker and more pronounced that stock at wide open throttle. I am going to buy a tuner from Lidio once I get my car back from the body shop. I was also going to do the j-mod but was wondering how the shifts are.

Please let us know.

Thanks

Jim

Not true. The Xcal2 holds three tunes, same as the Xcal3.

When I bought mine from Lidio, I got a lower octane tune, a high octane tune, and a Trilogy tune since I knew I'd buy that kit someday.
