As most of you know I did the "J-Mod" several weeks ago and then had my transmission rebuilt since it has 160K miles on it!!:bows:
The 1-2 shift was VERY harsh at 2-3 PSI of boost so I called Darrin and found out he has a different spring setup for the 1-2 accumulator that removes the harshness!!:beer: I told him I would be happy if the 1-2 shift was about like the 2-3 shift (not harsh but quick and positive)!!:banana:
I purchased his spring set and installed them this AM and....BINGO....The "D-Mod" of the "J-Mod" is EXACTLY what I needed!!!:bows:
Now the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are very quick but not neck snapping at part throttle and very crisp at WOT where the tires spin to absorb the shock of the WOT 1-2 shift!!!:D
