deadvic, JohnE, Rauder, The Big Stu, and Myself tackled Trilogy #168 in deadvics MM this weekend.

We also had awesome phone support from RCSignals, Chuck, and Claude! Thanks to you guys!

This install ran most of the weekend, but it was a very satisfying experience, especially the end result.

The cold weather and rain didn't hinder us much. I have to hand it to JB, this is a very well thought out and well executed kit. Everything fit like a factory install.

Here's some teardown pics....

We remove the lower manifold, then grind the knock sensor bosses, now the new lower manifold goes on, with new injectors....

Now the blower assembly goes on.....MMMMM

Deadvic with his "gangsta hat" Plumbing in the Vacuum lines...for those of you planning on doing the install. I HIGHLY recommend removing the wiper box/cowl for better access.

That install looks so easy. How long do you think it took?

Thats a loaded question.

We spent most of Saturday and Sunday morning to do the kit. Of course we were in NO hurry whatsoever. So that time includes eating, general *********ting, and taking pics, etc.

If we really got on it, and preassembled the Blower/IC etc, I think 12 hours would be a fair time estimate, if you really pushed. The main thing is for first timers, its longer because you don't want' to make any mistakes. I think we could hammer one of these out in much less time next time.

We'll see when the certain blue one gets one soon....

duct tape? Have you found the duct tape on your car yet?

Wes had enough help there, he probably didn't use the duct tape.
