Peoria, IL to Springfield, IL

On Friday afternoon, 1-18-08, I was running from Springfield to Peoria and spotted "Winged" Black Marauder heading the opposite way. Marauder was Southbound on 155/55. Nice road to run on, flat, straight and open.. I saw lots of Police on it though.

I was sporting a VW Passat 2.0 Turbo. RENTAL. Not a bad temp ride.

Out of four flights, the only one on time was the one leaving Buffalo.....What a sucky trip.

U sure it had a wing? Did it have blue plates on it? I sold mine and it went that way the same day.

As for the car spotted, it couldn't have been a Crown Vic, could it?

Could have been? It had an 'unorthodoxed' rear wing. Raised with a space and two stantions holding it up about 4" from the deck lid.

I was going 85 MPH and the car was on the other side of a wide median. Who knows what I saw. Looked like a black MM to me. 170 MPH, 100, 60m yards. Coulda been a toyota.!

I know several cars around my area and I was trying to figure out if it was one that I knew. Doesn't sound familiar.
