I think you pull the drivers door panel off and read the code on the module.... I think.
Zack will know.... he knows all. Just ask him! :)

Just pull off the door panel and look at the sticker.

Gates are good belts.

Look in the driver's door jamb. Look on the right side trunk hinge. Look in your owner's manual.

Gates makes a good belt. Goodyear GatorBacks are good, too.

The factory keypad code is on a sticker on the RKE module inside the driver's door. Pull off the panel and it's in the lower right corner...

When the car is delivered, the dealer gets a few stickers to place in certain areas of the car. These stickers have the code. If the dealer doesnt put them on (like mine) you are SOL. Removing the door panel will definitely give you the code as you found out, but the stickers in the trunk, doorjamb etc. are hit or miss at best. I found my code the same way, asking and then removing the door panel which took all of 10 minutes from start to finish.

It's always a good idea to check with these guys first whenever possible. Saves me a lot of money.

Make sure that you tell the management at that dealership that they just LOST a customer... That is BS... A dealership did it for me last year with pleasure and no charge.

Even though I bought my MM used, I found that those stickers weren't placed in the usual spots, or placed on anything at all. The stickers were still attached to their backing and placed with the owners manual.
