Well, I finally pulled the trigger on GT 500! Once it gets here, I'll have to put my '04 DTR up for sale. It has just under 44K miles and is all stock except for a K&N cold air intake. It has every available option and all the documentation including the auto show press kit/DVD and the Mercury dealer sales notebook. What do you think is a fair price? I'd like to sell her to a member.

$15-20000 USD I would think.

Depends on the cond, I'd say some where between $18,000 - $19,500. approx.

I agree with Cobra25. That seems about the going rate for an '04 with that miles.

The car is in excellant shape. Ford synthetic oil used since it had 5,000 miles, no dings and never smoked in. I'm going to ask $17,500. I'll post it with pictures in the for sale section when the Shelby gets here. Until then, if anybody is interested, let me know.

Does it have a sunroof? Colour inside? how about a picture? or 20.

Price depends on how fast you want to sell it. If you want to know what it is worth go to a dealership and ask what they would give you for it. That is the low amount. Add $5K to that and you get the high amount. Ask for something in between, depending on how fast you want to sell it.

Typically I see the Dealership amount. ie:~ what they paid for it plus $5K. I then offer 80% they counter with 90% of said price and I get it for 90% all fees costs etc plus sales tax. Sometimes you can do better, on my Subie I did, but not very often.

Don't forget shipping and cost of having kids coming for a test drive/Joy Ride.

:agree:

and good luck with the DTR, maybe one day I'll have a second but till then one is enough. Always post plenty of pictures, and details and good documentation for the car like window stickers and receipts.

BTW would you be willing to part with dealer sales training binder? I've been looking for one for a while.

Don't forget the cost of having kids coming for a test drive/Joy Ride.

That's why I'd like to see a member here get her.

As for being loaded, I know some thought that was "how unique" But, it has every available option. Sunroof, heated seats, trunk organizer, rear spoiler and everything else that was offered. When I bought her, not every one had heated seats, sunroof or the trunk organizer.

It has the light gray interior. I'll get pics posted in the for sale section when the Shelby gets here. Shouldn't be more than a week or two. Until then, I still need her to get to work!

Thanks everybody for the input. I hope she goes to a good home!
