So, I just discovered that when I engage the window lock from the drivers side, the window control lights turn off on the passenger side. I always wondered why sometimes they were on and sometimes they weren't. Now I know....

There should be some info on the search because it was discovered a while back and lets not forget the rubberbands.

Yeah, the rubber bands!

Hey, all you newbies out there, this is one of THE most important searches you can undertake after getting on the site.

I agree. Its way cool that different lights come on and off depending on the radio function. Great at night. Now, about that speed/volume control. Are you serious?

The lights turning off would make sense since the window function would be blocked. Never noticed them turning off before I'll have to look for it next time I go for a drive.

I heard about the speed sense volume thing but didn't see the thread about it or now how to mess with it.

With your radio on, hold down the power button for 5 seconds...you can then set the "speed volume" from 1-7 using the SEL button.

Yup, totally. Same as the Chevy feature in all their cars, never knew we had it until last week...always wanted it and had it all along! 0-7 avaliable, I tried 4, then 3, now settled at 2...seems the least invasive and still does increase/decrease as it should. Try it at a higher number first, then work your way down until you BARELY notice it.
