I have the Front License plate bracket, which I found in the trunk, but the front bumper already has 4 plugs placed by the previous owner. I have read on this site that the bracket was attached via rivets? Did FoMoCo ever use screws on the Marauder, GM, or CV's instead of these rivets? I would prefer going back with screws if possible, does anybody reading this have the part numbers for all 6 screws? Meaning, the 4 that hold the bracket to the bumper cover, and the other 2, which hold on the license plate. I'm not about to run down to the hardware store & just piece this back together, I just want to do it right the first and last time is all.

my 2003a came with the bracket screwed on...
Go to a Ford body shop, they have the rivets and the tool to install it.

I drilled out where the dimples were and used rivets.

My gal had one of those front license plate holders when I bought her.
I ripped it off and now I have 2 small holes in my front facia.
It's gonna cost me about $300 to plug those holes and make my front bumper look new.
I really hate state's that mandate front licences plates.

What is a front License Plate?
A "front license plate" is small, metal, retangular sign that attached to the front of an automobile that has a unique registration number stamped and painted on it. Some U.S. states require license plates, or "tags", be placed on both the front and rear of vehicles operated on public roads.

Through a series of misadventures and random happenings I now have two Marauders with NO holes in the front bumpers, which makes me happy. When I removed the front dealer plate off the first one several years ago, there were four ugly splintery screwholes in the front bumper.

Bracket would be a dealer add on if your State requires a front plate.
Brackets are still available so if you need one and your Ford dealer is saying you don't need one I'd go to a different dealer.:)
