I received code 024 "Blend Door short or failure" while diagnosing my EATC. Has anyone replaced the Blend Door?

Is that like a Waring Blend-Door? :)

I suspect it is the tiny door that decides how much outside air is mixed in with cabin air depending on how you set the controls on the head unit. I am sure someone here can give you a more mechanically proper description though.

It is a hinged door in your a/c that directs the air flow based on the selected function such as defrost, heat, A/C etc.

Yah, that's exactly what I was trying to say but all my words fell out of my head wrongly.

You kill me!

Jim, I'll look at it tomorrow. The instructions are very general. I've never done a Panther (or at least as I recall). The labor time calls for four hours! Yikes!!!

i had that problem and it would only work on defrost. the hvac head unit had an internal open circuit. thats prob the issue and u will need a hvac head unit. ive got one if thats what u find it to be
