Sorry to report but my wife was in a 4 car pile up this past Thursday. My wife had zero injuries but the Marauder being #3 in the pile was a total loss. The estimate of repair came in today at 15,000. The car was immacualte and was recently retired at 60,000 miles for pleasure use. We had no intention of ever selling it as it was just PAID in full and has been an exceptional car. In fact it was never in for a single repair after we all figured out the alignment issues and tires etc. I am really bummed to say we will probably not replace it with another Marauder just due to this being 5 years later and other choices are worth exploring now. The car brought my wife home safely, provided me with many many wins and grins that cannot be counted. People always stared at the car and our Hockey bags, flats of water and even the damn dog crate fit . Anyways there is our rant and goodbye. All the best to the Marauder Guys these cars ROCK!!!

Very sorry to hear this. :(

The MM sacrificed itself for the occupants.

Good luck and we'll keep the lights on.

Mike.

Could we have a moment of silence to honor the passing of another MM? :(

Sorry to hear about your MM; but glad that no one was injured.

In it's earlier days, when it was holding more value, mine was resurrected with 17K in damage. Today, it's straighter and truer than most others. (35K out of front tires!)

I'm sorry to hear the car was lost but, like mine and many others, the Panther platform kept yet another would-be victim out of harm's way.

All the best....

What all of them said above. Marauders are replaceable, good wives are NOT. You can hang around here, Marauder owner or not, you know.

Since I have been hanging around and trying to determine a value to be prepared for the AAA adjuster:help: I told my wife this morning I had posted a goodbye and RIP on the forum and she said " now we don't have a nice classy car for dinners and long trips with friends" YOU guys got me thinking here...they are very reasonable and many appear to have been well kept. Guess I will keep an eye on the classifieds. Would have to be 03 Blk 300A pkg and do all the same old school mods LOL slow poke around? forgot to grab the pen and pads set.

I was waiting to read that. :)

Sorry to hear about your loss, but getting another 300A would make most of the pain go away, just see how many mods you can transfer from the old to the new. I can tell your wife is still ok though, she still has the same great taste in automobiles ;)

It went to calibur Collision in Escondido,Ca for the estimate after that AAA took to one of their salvage yards. I will ask for you when the process begins. They said the front valance and wiring harness were big bucks for the MM. We appreciate everyones kind words and encouragement and do consider ourselves lucky.

Well, grab a pickup and take as much off of it as possible, i mean anything, from the glass to the COP's to the pocket change under the seat.

I do believe insurance will let you take anything you put on, so say the wheels are aftermarket and you should get those to:)

Sorry for your lose of our MM, and as others have said it definitely protected your wife. With our pending move later this summer the wife and I will be bringing another MM to CA in the Vandenberg AFB area. Good luck finding another 03.

Found the right car here.

I bought new in Oct. 03. Only got to play with it for 11,000 miles over past 4 years. Always garage kept can be seen here on this site under photos -

Only modification is hidden police strobe & LED lights that can/ be removed with no damage to integrity of car. NEVER used on duty, just for show.

Aslo have complete extra set of factory tires & wheels, Leather Jacket size XL, promo DVD, Window sticker, etc.

Located in Middle Tennessee. $19,500.00

Thanks Nathan the drive back to California will be fun.

The buy back was less than $2,000.00. I passed but can say structurally it was ok but every panel had something. Drivers side airbag out. The car will be at the Perris ca salvage auction available to dealers. So theres the heads up lots and lots of good stuff the drivetrain has 61,500 and was running perfectly. The interior is super nice with my wife putting 90% of the miles and we share the medium jacket so it is not broke down no kids etc. The wheels are nice also. Hope this info and post is useful someone here. We are excited about staying around thanks again. The tune and gears all over again

Thanks to Sprtyworty, for being a man of his word, I have sold my beloved Marauder. It was a hard decision, but after owning it for over 4 years and only putting 11,000 miles on it, I must now edit my profile & take off the MM.

I wish him & his wife the best of luck with this car!!!

ps; I still have a complete set of factory wheels & tires mounted/balanced and a Marauder Jacket size XL that I would like to sell.
