Well chalk another one up to the JLT side, for a while I thought the K&N one looked sleaker versus the bluky JLT but it was the sheer diameter / power potential of the JLT that tipped it. And I can tell ya that pictures do it little justice. Once you clamp it on its a beauty, and don't get me started on that sound. the pitch is a little higher but you really hear / feel it on an open highway at night. That wurl really makes it all worth it

And the obigatory pictures:

any one know what the 540 sticker on the engine block means? The block number is on the other side with the build date and barcode so that can't be it

Also I found two of the legendary uber-go-fast rubber bands

2 rubber bands! I only found one and it disintegrated off, now its in my garage.

The 540 i think is your engine code for if you purchase a tune. atleast i think thats what it is.

Wooooo, that means double the powah!! XP

But seriously, they almost seem to be standard. Mine is in the place where you said your's was, and BigDogJim has one on his lower radiator hose too, it might be a pattern. I better check my seat belts heard there might be one there too:D

Tune code is on the 'A' pillar when you open the drivers side door.
