I was on my usual 20 mile 1 hour commute today when I looked over and saw a marauder pulling into a gas station. And on the back was a 5.4 logo. I recognized it from the photos I have seen on this site. It was kind a cool to see another member, I have see other cars, but they never wave or anything. I think NBC saw me also, because he was rubbernecking as he pulled into the driveway.
Are there any other So Cal people here......lets meet up some time. Everything seems to be in TX or back east.

Hey we think you boys should drive to Texas!
The Mid-West and East Coast crews are gearing up for it.
Keep your eye on the countdown clock!
Should be 3 days of non stop action................

AHA! So it was you!
Yup. That was me--I immediately noticed your front badge being blacked out as well in my rear view mirror when i first spotted you! I certainly meant to wave or honk or something, but you flew by behind my back as I entered the gas station before I got a chance!

::::::::::trying to think of a really cool place to hold an L.A. meet::::::::::
P.S. By the way, Logan, LML--if you wanna move this thread to The Lounge so that us Los Angeles-area members can blab away about our L.A. meet discussion without boring the tears out of the rest of the forum, feel free!

Hey, maudominguez!
I am dying to get the Eibach front springs and Dennis' rear sway bar installed, aren't you? As soon as the new Eibach shipment rolls in, I was thinking of going to that performace shop you recommended in Torrance . . . what was the name of it again? Maybe we could get them installed together . . .
James, Matt, Monster, Amerikan, and the rest of you L.A.-area owners, let's all get them installed there and maybe we can strike a deal!
James: was it you who had mentioned the mod-friendly service guy at Sunrise Ford in North Hollywood? Have you actually gotten anything done there yet? Maybe it was Matt who was talking about this guy . . . I just would like to find a local shop (preferably a Ford or LM dealer) that is "Marauder-literate" AND mod friendly. Among all of us L.A. owners, we oughta be able to use our puchasing clout to at least find a knowledgable shop somewhere here.

Any time Amerikan, enjoy those mods... ah wait! you already are. Nice job w/ that firehawk on PCH. PCH (Pacific Coast Highway for our out of state friends) is nice cruising!!
Shooter that's a good Idea. I had Chicane install my sway bar already, I'm telling you it's a must. I received my springs a week and a half ago, but have been a little reluctant to get them installed. After doing various searches here on our boards, reading and understanding great info and insight mbrs such as Zack, Taf, MI2QWK4U, and LcplRetired have shared w/ us about the springs, I still haven't decided enough people have done this for me to take the plunge. No offense to our other mbrs but for me the proof is in time and numbers, and this has been my rule of thumb from the getgo. I figured this could help me avoid any major complications.
But let me Know when you recieve your stuff I will have decided by then hopefully. If decided not to, I guess I'll have some Eibach springs for sale. I doubt it though!! :) Either way this could be a great opportunity for us So-Cal mbrs to meet at Chicane

Speaking for myself, I would think any of us would welcome any Panther platform car, ESPECIALLY anything BLOWN!

Yes NBC, I had them install 4:10 gears, Deniss' driveshaft, T/C, chip, plugs and stat.
Not only did they do a great job, but they gave me celebrity treatment. My service writer and all the techs are highly enthused with the Marauder.
Give my buddy there a call. His name is Mike Hess.

Cyclone, BigDog:
I READ about the goodie bag AND BOY AM I JEALOUS!!! (More like envious, I guess) Can't make it to Ennis because of work. You guys are gonna have a BLAST!!!
James:
That's great to hear about Sunrise! Glad you finally got your mods and got them installed to your satisfaction!
I'm going with a Superchips MicroTuner 'cause I never heard from the FordChip guys about their L.A. tuning session anymore. Los Angeles USED to be on their "TBA" schedule, THEN they TOOK L.A. COMPLETELY OFF THE WEBSITE!!! Anyway, the MicroTuner looks like a lot of fun. After that, the next mod for me is the Eibach springs and Dennis' swaybar. And someday, Dennis' headers as well.
Talk to you soon!
