WOT Stock tune possible problem.

This has happened four times now.

I come off a corner, big sweeping corner from an on/off ramp.

I punch it to WOT and the Marauder shifts once then hits what i can only describe as a passing gear. It goes to high RPM and just bogs right down. I have to let off the gas pedal and then I can keep driving.

If I don't let up it just keeps bogging down.

Is this a Traction Control problem, A Limited slip problem, Transmission problem or a Tune problem?

Not running on all cylinders? Are the COP's ok? Plugs?

Do you have stock tires on? If not could you be hitting Trac-Control issues or maybe bouncing off redline?

is it only on the corner? try it next time with the Tc off..If it were ignition related corner or straight away it be the same...

This has happened with my almost worn out Stock rears and with my snow tires. Both may slip, when it happens I don't tend to get a chance to see if the Traction Control light is on. The last time I looked but as I was coming off a clover leaf my hand was in the way.

The engine is reving high but then just seems to hit the limit and sit there, it does not shift.

Is this tune related?

Sounds like a tuning issue to me. Look at the combination of rev limit and shift points. Shift point may be set higher than the rev limit wil allow....

Say you have the rev limit set to 6,000 and shift point set to, say, 60 MPH in first. Rev limit won't let the car get to 60, so fuel gets cut off at 6,000 RPM limit.

Is that what you are getting?
