Doing a clone?

That's what it sounds like to me ........you would think a rear bumper would be at the top of the list though

Lighten up... sure sounds like a easy way to get spare parts...I will buy all the cheap wrecks I can find for sure...as you are right... the OEM spares are gonna dry up fast, especially when all Panthers are gone from production in a coupla years.. I already have 5 P71s in stock...toward that eventuality.

Whether it is for parts to put on a CV or GM or for something else, who cares. I don't care much for people that do the complete clone and try to call it a Marauder, but I, for one, would love to find a wrecked Marauder (maybe a bad rear end or something).

I would grab the motor, tranny, wheels/tires, and complete interior and swap them in to my CVPI. I wouldn't do bumpers and wouldn't try to pass it off at a Marauder, but I would thing about the header panel, headlights and grill (badgelss grill..).

I like the Panther size and ride, but wish I had the better power and nicer interior of the Marauder in my daily driver CVPI. And it would be a fun project instead of just buying a second, high mileage Marauder since I already have the CVPI.

Clintons4 - good luck on your search...

Thanks everyone for the imput. I am not really a wanna be as quoted several posts above. I had a 2003 MM that I had to sell due to financial reasons.:bigcry: As far as the rear bumper being at the top of the list, I already have the following:

headlights
sidemarkers
5 brand new wheels
rear bumper

I have a bunch of CVP71's and found a drivetrain for 950.00

Any help would be great.
