Hands down...GET THE TUNE!!!
This is one, I'M sure, EVERYONE will agree!!!
With just the gears, your shift points will be terrible, and your speedo will be off.
The tune firms (trans) everything up, and adds Hp!!! It will also set things up for your gears (adjusts speedo, and shift points)...you'll thank yourself for doing it...
I promise...lol

Go for the tuner first........besides you wont get the full effect of the gears without the tuner anyway

Tune, w/o a tune the 4:10's don't do much. The shifts will be off.
Early on some tried gears w/o a tune and were disappointed.

With Lidios XCal, he'll supply you with 3 tunes. One tune is for 3.55's until you're ready for the 4.10's, then just upload the 4.10 tune.....easy!

+1 on the tune.
Order it from me and I'll make sure you get a 3.55 and 4.10 tune, so when u get your gears (I do offer free shipping too) you just have to reflash and
"done!"

+1 with Wes! Lidio gave me 2 tunes, 3.55's and 4.10's. Wes will hook you up.
I have an 04 and after extensive research opted for the tune first. The 4.10's came a little later followed by the 100 shot nitrous and stall converter. The XCal has a tune stored for each of the mod's. Works great and lasts a long time.
You can get the Tuner (flasher) from our supporting vendors.

TUNE! The very best bang for the buck.... And the ability to use the tuner to tweak some of the parameters to suit your preferences is the best. I, for one, have my transmission to shift much higher in the rpm range even at part throttle. I get a nice "bump" and wheel-chirp on the 1-2 shift even taking off slowly. Sweet!
