I decided since it was 53 degrees out and i wanted to do something useful, ill install my bulbs.

First gotta loosen the bolts and slide it out. Couldnt figure out why it was catching but i figured out it was hitting the bumper, so i pressed that down and pop it came out.

I didnt take pictures of it out, but you all know what that looks like.

Kinda a bad angle and it makes it look the same, but the right side is the silverstar, and the left is the xtravisions

Is it safe to say the first mod was the air filter?
And the third will be....a Supercharger?:banana2:

Thumbs up on the install...

Sadly the supercharger will be like the 100th mod. I got 3 things for christmas, and so far 2 are installed. Yes the JLT would be first, than this, and when it warms up my pioneers are going on :)

ROFL, didn't you have just the regular Xtravision bulbs, and I said something like, "What's the matter, all those mods and you couldn't even afford Silverstars?!" Glad you took my advice. But still, HID>Halogen.

I did my foglamps and there is a noticable difference compared to stock.

what bulbs did you use in the fogs? I heard the silverstars dont last long for fog light applications.

I am pleased to say that you just wasted your time.:P

The only thing silverstar is worth replacing of is the turn lamp.

Their headlamps are junk, and provide little change from the stock yellow glow bulb.

Take pride in experimentation and keeping busy for the afternoon however.

I used the silverstar H1's. it only took me about 5 minutes to change both. Ill try to get a pic.

Wasn't it a pain taking out the bolts that hold in the headlights?

Next time you take them out do this:

that is a good idea, but i think the biggest pain was wiggling the light out. The manual just said "unbolt and remove" riight.

I have had silverstar fog lights in both of my MM's and I have to say they are not worth it over the stock. Mine are blown right now im going to put the stock ones back in. I will be ordering the HID headlight kit and HID fog light kit in a few weeks. Now if you wanna spend money on lights HID is the way to go.
