More Fun Than Ever

Well I've had my MM for 1600 miles now,things I've noticed....
First this car is breaking in very nicely.
The "RIP" from 3800- up is great!
It is deffently much more responsive than when I picked it up.
Something strange I've noticed is it seems that the torque converter is loosening up.
My driveway is slopped when I got the car,in drive when I let off the brake the car would hold on the hill,now brake off in drive it rolls backwards right now!

With stock gearing this thing comes alive passing from 70 - 90 !
I had fun on my test drive in a car with about 60 miles on it,I did not baby it (thats why I bought one with only 3 miles on it):rolleyes:

I've tried not to run it too hard but I do let it rev a bit.

If these cars ran new like they do with a few thousand miles I'm sure we would have close to 250hp at the wheels.:) Stock.

I've had my MM since the middle of June and it just keeps getting better.I've driven and been in some extreme cars before.But,for a pure stock off the floor performance this MM is total awsome at 40MPH to 90MPH.And after reading these other posts of those who are looking for alittle more grunt from the starting gate it seem's as though I made a good decsion buying my MM.I'm very happy with Merc's first attempt at a performance sedan.
