I took my car out on the beltway today(495 for the locals) And I said to myself...self lets cruise a lil. I hit the on button and I looked on the instrument panel...No light? Then I took my foot off the gas and I was cruising. My question is...Is my light out or is there no indicator to let you know the cruise is on or off?

There is no light! Hard to beleive on such an exspensive ca. My Explorer has a light,Chevy Pick-up as well but not the Marauder!

This is a stealth feature, goes with the persona of the car.;)

I don't want to hijack your thread here -- but your thought reminded me of something else. I had an '03 300a and now I have an '03 300b. There are may threads about what is the differences between the two '03 models and the '04...

Please correct me if I'm wrong -- but I'm pretty sure that my '03 300a did not have a "Check Gas Cap" light. No?

I think we all have the "check gas cap" light, part of the OBDII system.

I'll be adding a cruise control light to my dash in a few weeks.

There's a cruise light there. It's green. Right side of the cluster above and between the fuel and temp gauges. Mine worked before my accident, but not after. Never chased it down.

FBM changed to all LED's right? Didn't you see it when the dash was off?

Yeah -- You're probably right.. Maybe this: (and my memory may be faulty) I don't recall my 300a lighting up all the dash-cluster lights when you first turn on the ignition. This 300b does -- and that's when I notice the gas-cap light. I'll check for a "cruise" light tonight because this thread has me questioning now.

+1 I've had them on both my vans and yet it perplexed me that the MM didn't when I was Cruising home the day i bought it.

Isn't your foot not being on the pedal and the car still moving enough of an indicator of cruise control?

I am not even sure that my "Cruise Control" even works. Can't remember the last time that I even used it. Bet I haven't clicked it on cruise 5 times since I've owned the car. In Northern Virginia with traffic on I-95, I-66, I-270, I-395, and the Beltway I-495 -- I find cruise control to be more annoying than helpful. It is a constant cycle of On-Off-On-Brake-Resume. There is just about NO speed that you can set to avoid this problem. So the "missing" light doesn't bother me at all. ;)

The MM has an OD indicator light in the upper right hand corner of the IC.
