O.k., I've done searches on stock MAF size and MAF dimensions and not found what I'm looking for, so new thread:

I know our stock MAF is an 80MM. But what is the ID of the MAF housing at the throttlebody (narrowest) end ? What is the ID at the filter end?

I purchased my car with a PHP airbox already on it, still using the stock intake tube back to the throttlebody. I assumed I have the stock MAF housing as well. The PHP was an early Rheinhart mod installed back in '03. Being mod-happy, I recently measured the ID of my MAF housing as 85MM at the exit/throttlebody end. I don't recall the exact ID measurement at the filter end, but it was greater than 100MM.

So what do I have? Stock 80MM with ID's that don't seem logical? or something else?
I don't understand the naming convention here...:help:

The stock MAF tapers down to 80MM in the middle. a 90MM MAF is the same diameter all the way thru (At least my Ford Racing one is). The use the same mounting/MAF adapter flange, but the 80 tapers down in the middle.

I have a 90MM MAF brand new in the box cheap if you want it.

I also have the piping/rubber parts from a JLT if you want it. That'll go from the other side of the MAF to the intake eliminating the stock zip tube.

If you use both, you'll need a $4 IAT sensor and a tune.
