I am open to input from owners who may have experiance with this....
If I step on the gas hard almost to the floor... nothing happens, for about 1 or 2 seconds. Then it goes.
My own thoughts are the newly installed TR5 plugs. Maybe too cold for the winter temps and fuel blend. But it feels like timing. PS fuel economy has been better since she started acting up. Another thought is injector cleaner?

Are you runing a oiled air filter? If so, clean your MAF...

Make sure you use a cleaner specifically made to clean the MAF...Don't use anything else!
Good luck...

Yep, stock or oiled the MAF needs a cleanin' once in a while. CRC MAF cleaner at any FLAPS.
I used Brake cleaner with no problems.
Sounds like a fuel filter to me. It might be the FRPS, is the car hard to start?

FRPS?????
Defining hard to start.. in Minnesota is a bit of a....test in and of itself. I would say no it starts good.
If you own a car that starts at all.. today, you will have many friends. My wife just came back from church, she took the truck, the key actually adhered itself to her skin.
Time for some of those how cold was it jokes.
Just did the fuel filter to solve the high RPM stall. Worked just like D.R. said it would. I still plan on putting in the truck filter.
Why the word of caution on the cleaner?? Pretty sure I bought cheap stuff.

I personally went to Radio shack and purchased electrical contact cleaner spray. Its safe and works good. You can pick it up anyplace that sells computers.

Some cleaners leave a residue on your MAF... Adding more problems (poor idle/acceleration)
Just to be safe...I use CRC MAF cleaner...
