Please forgive the use of the "H" word in this post.

Before buying my wife's Honda (there's that "H" word), I was able to locate and download a PDF of the manual. I no longer recall the source other than it was not the factory... at least not where I got it from.

Does anyone have or know if the MM manual is available as downloadable PDF? Or any format?

Thanks!

Now thats a good question! And I don't know the answer either--but --I feel sure someone will come forward with a clue. After all--how many of us could use that 411--a couple at least wouldn't you say--

The owner's manual is available in the www.mercuryvehicles.com web site. However, it is somewhat difficult to get to the manuals. First, you need to join the owner's section of the web site. Then, you have to click the "contact us" section. Eventually, you arrive at the "ask Kate" section. Then, type in "owner's manual" in the search box. Then, one of the questions refers to online owner's manuals. Then, type in the year and make. The manual is downloaded as a pdf file.

Hey guys, thanks very much! Now I'll have something to memorize before picking my car up. Maybe quiz the dealer a little, eh?

You can download the PDF file from the Mercury Owners website by clicking on the "glovebox" section of the site. This may be of interest to present owners of older production MM's. The version on the site is a "second printing" which seems to have some of the errors in the manual fixed, notably the wrong information on the DSP button on the radio head unit.

I appreciate you guys sending them out to me. I've skimmed through it and everything seems pretty simple and straight forward. Lot of familiar Ford bits I already know from the GT.

I'll tell ya what I'd love to get in PDF format: Shop manual, parts manual, wiring diagram, and the TSB's!

I have the Helm manual, it's ok ... I guess. It is quite lacking in several areas. It's really vague in some places. There's not much in the way of exploded parts diagrams. They cover the engines very well, but not the body. Oh well.

Anybody know of any alternatives? I know you can get all the service manuals on CD-ROM. but, they're expensive. and I haven't seen any on Ebay lately.:help:
