We are hot on the trail of solving the OEM CD Changer Magazine Mystery.

I've had over 1/2 dozen OEM changers through my hands, but have always gotten rid of them. Does anyone at all have a factory changer including magazine or just a magazine they can live without for a little while and send it to John for identification?

If we can find this thing, it means cheap additional and replacement magazines for all.

Anyone?

If sending just the magazine will solve this mystery, I'll send mine up,..

No big hurry John.

Weather is not favorable. Cold as hell and snow beginning to fall while the DTR is all bundled up.

Running down to eject the magazine now, and will PM tracking info. after I hit the UPS Store tomorrow.

:burnout:

I've heard they're Alpine. I do know that the extra magazines from my 03 GM Ultimates' changer are identical to my 04 MM's and work just fine in it.
I talked the salesperson into sweetening the deal for the GM by throwing in 3 extra magazines and had them put it on the sales contract. The salesperson almost choked when she went to the parts dept and found out what their cost was, lol. But I did get them.

John,

Should be there Thursday prior to dinnertime via UPS Ground.

Check your PM's for tracking and return address.

Take your time on the flipside... ;)

I've heard they're Alpine.

That's because of me. I have learned more info to point at Clarion. While I'm 100% on the RADIO being Alpine. Early 300A's actually said on the cassette door.

Mary, Sticky this in John's forum so we don;t lose that part number!!!

Super, duper, John!!!!

That price is at least HALF of what the dealer charges!

I suggest you find out the case quantity and your discount and offer a group buy at that quantity and price. I bet it'd be VERY successful!
