I checked the manual vc codes for our my car for spr and mine read ffss which is not listed in the Feb 2003 service manual however the springs with the defective parts are listed in the manual for cv and gm...I am not gonna worry about it!

My impression from how that is written is that it effects regular CVs and GMs, not CVPIs and Marauders
