Is Kenny Brown Performance in Indianapolis still around? I know a few years ago they were offering various upgrades to Panther platform cars.

I think they are shut down temporarily because Kenny got really sick and almost died several times. as far as I know there is no timeline for their return to start manufacturing products again. If you see anyone saying they are selling licensed versions of Kenny Brown parts they are lying and you will not get a good product.

There is the story behind the story.
People get sick all the time and their business doesn't fold.
I wish him the best of luck.

OK, thanks for the info guys. I had thoughts of getting a balanced driveshaft so I could remove the top speed limiter and perhaps do some other upgrades to my '03 300B. Hopefully KB will be back in business soon.

Reinhart or Alternative can do anything Kenny Brown could.

You can also find a local shop that can balance the driveshaft. Most heavy truck repair places can do it or they have someone that farm out the work to.

Check out PST (Precision Shaft Technologies) driveshafts. They already have the MM driveshaft dimensions and this is the quote I got from them for a new driveshaft last month. More than I could spend at the moment but had one on my Cougar and it was worth every penny. Good people and good products.
3.5" aluminum shaft with slip and flange runs $465.00
4” aluminum driveshaft ($565.00) (will handle anything thrown at it)
4" carbon fiber shaft ($1,000.00) (will handle anything thrown at it)

Kenny was one of the first on the Marauder scene, he was involved in KB Panthers prior to that.
He offered and (as of recently)continues to offer a complete transformation package including; suspension, tires , ect.
No one else has marketed a complete package for the Marauder.

Just so you know, the "problem" with the Ford OEM driveshafts is not a balance problem. It is a stiffness or whipping problem. Someone on this forum posted a well written, lengthy, and somewhat technical explanation of driveshaft engineering.
